Amenti

Amenti – Shift the Sands (Album 'Under the Dying Sun’) – Music Video

A friend of mine knew a heavy metal band and asked me if I’d like to make a music video for their next single. So I listened to the track and read the lyrics and thought that even though their music wasn’t a style I normally listen to, I could do it justice.

I wrote the script and based the song around a story of a fallen soldier who is fighting a war he cannot win and sacrificing things he should never have to sacrifice.
The band went on to use it on their recent tour of Russia.

Mum’s The Word – Short Film

I had long been fascinated by relationships and how in a parental or sibling relationship certain things are acceptable that wouldn’t be in most other kinds of relationship.
This story is about how the eternal bond between a mother and her son can be manipulated and how far someone will go to please a loved one.

Special Delivery – Short Film

A friend and I were bashing around ideas and came up with the story of a typical hard-working guy whose working day is thrown into utter chaos for reasons he doesn’t know or understand when a mysterious package arrives.

Shot on the RED camera, it was my first foray into shooting a film on Hi-Def and an experience that I thoroughly enjoyed and can’t wait to do again.

Coffin Fit - Short Film

Coffin Fit was originally a short story that formed part of an anthology of horror monsters that my good friend Scott Roche and i wrote a few years ago. I was looking for something more in the horror genre after 'Special Delivery' and dusted this off. After changing the story to fit a more realistic environment i got stuck in to re-writing it with the lead character as the protagonist and antagonist to see if we can sympathise and be horrified at the same time and when we finally make it, i hope that's what we achieve.
